Hello again ,
We gave Joss red berries, all types ,two teaspoons per day ,minced ,mixed under his
food. I washed his butt with Tempos soaked in warm water which my Vet said was just
fine, I used no disinfectant.
I forgot to mention the most important part of the routine, bedding must be washed
everyday (Kochwãsche), we rmoved all rugs and used the Staubsauger everday and
then washed all the floors with very hot water, then wiped it as dry as possible. Last
but not least ,eating bowls and drinking bowls ,washed in boiling water after every meal.
Joss was diagnosed with Giardien mid January 14 and he was declared
clear of Giardien at the end of March 14. We still don't know where he contacted them
because he was the only one of our group (a group of at least 10 dogs meet every morning)
who had them, also the dogs in the Hundeschule were all Giardien free. He is also
a dog bred in Germany, he was six months old when he was diagnosed.
I hope this info helps.
Best wishes from Cologne
Eileen
